Storyline
Half of all life in the
universe was destroyed when Thanos used Batu Infinity, including Clint Barton's
family. Twenty-three days later, Carol Danvers rescued Nebula and Tony Stark,
who were stranded in space after their fight with Thanos. They joined Natasha
Romanoff, Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Rocket, Thor, Pepper Potts, and James
Rhodes on Earth. The group found Thanos in a remote planet and planned to seize
and use Infinity stones and reverse his actions, but Thanos had destroyed the
stone to prevent reuse. Angry Thor finally beheaded Thanos.
Five years later, Scott
Lang came out of the quantum world. He went to the Avengers headquarters, where
he explained to Romanoff and Rogers that he had only gone through five hours in
quantum, not five years. and he theorized that quantum nature could allow them
to travel time into the past, the Three of them asked Stark - who is now
raising a daughter, Morgan, with Pepper - so that they would take Infinity
stones from the past and use them to restore Thanos's actions in the present.
Stark rejected the idea for fear of losing Morgan, but relented after pondering
the destroyed Peter Parker. Stark worked with Banner, who had unified his
intelligence and the power of the Hulk, to design a device for time travel.
Banner warns that changing the past does not change the present and even the
slightest change can create a different reality. He and Rocket go to the Asgard
refugee's new home in Norway - New Asgard - to recruit Thor, who is now a fat
drunk, desperate for his failure to stop Thanos. In Tokyo, Romanoff recruited
Clint Barton, who is now a vigilante after his family disappeared.
Banner, Lang, Rogers,
and Stark went to New York City in 2012. Banner visits Sanctum Sanctorum and
convinces Ancient One to give him the Time Stone. Rogers managed to take the
Stone of Mind, but Stark and Lang accidentally let Loki from 2012 to escape
with Batu Angkasa. Rogers and Stark went to headquarters S.H.I.E.L.D. in 1970,
where Stark took the initial version of Batu Angkasa and met with young Howard
Stark when he took it, while Rogers took some Pym Particles from Hank Pym to
return to the present. Rocket and Thor went to Asgard in 2013, extracting Stone
Reality from Jane Foster and taking Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. Nebula and Rhodes
went to Morag in 2014 and stole the Power Stone before Peter Quill could steal
it. Rhodes returns to the present with the Stone of Strength, but the Nebula is
unconscious when his cybernetic implant relates to him from the past. Through
this relationship, Thanos 2014 learned about its future success and the
Avengers' desire to reverse it. Thanos captured Nebula 2023 and sent Nebula
2014 to the present to replace him. Barton and Romanoff went to Vormir, where
the Stone Soul keeper, the Red Skull, told them that the stone could only be
taken at the expense of someone they loved. Romanoff sacrificed himself, and
Barton took the Soul Stone.
Avengers: Endgame is a
2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the
Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios
Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to 2012's The Avengers, 2015's Avengers: Age
of Ultron and 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, and the 22nd film in the Marvel
Cinematic Universe (MCU). After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity
War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the
Avengers assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order

Back in the present, the Avengers pair the stones
into the gloves made by Stark, where Banner uses them to return everything Thanos
removes. Nebula 2014 uses a time machine to bring Thanos 2014 and its warships
to the present, and attacks the Avengers headquarters, planning to destroy and
rebuild the universe with Infinity Stone. Nebula 2023 convinced Gamora 2014 to
betray Thanos and kill Nebula 2014. Stark, Rogers and Thor fought Thanos but
were overwhelmed. Thanos called on his troops to destroy the Earth, but Stephen
Strange returned with other wizards, the Avengers, and missing Guardians of the
Galaxy, Wakanda and Asgard's forces, and the Ravagers to fight Thanos and his
forces with the Danvers, who destroyed Thanos when he arrived. after defeating
the heroes, Thanos snatched the glove, but Stark stole the stone and used it to
eliminate Thanos and his troops, then died because of the energy released by
the stone.
After Stark's funeral, Thor appointed Valkyrie as
the ruler of New Asgard and joined Guardians of the Galaxy, where Quill looked
for Gamora 2014. Rogers returned the Infinity Stone and Mjolnir to their
respective times and settled in the past to live with Peggy Carter. In the
present, old Rogers gives the shield and name Captain America to Sam Wilson.
